Literature [61] describes that alkaline or acidic ionized water produced by electrolytic functional water dispensers is easy to adhere to the electrode base because the water contains charged colloids and bacteria and other organic matter. The titanium coated platinum electrode they developed produced acidic water with a pH value of 5.11 and ORP of 313mV; Alkaline water has a pH of 9.75 and an ORP of -354mV, fully in line with industry standards for ionized water.
