The successful study of titanium-coated platinum electrode and its excellent performance and price are similar to ruthenium-iridium coating indicate that it has a broad application prospect.


Literature [61] describes that alkaline or acidic ionized water produced by electrolytic functional water dispensers is easy to adhere to the electrode base because the water contains charged colloids and bacteria and other organic matter. At the same time, cations such as calcium and magnesium in water are easy to form sulfate and carbonate crystals under alkaline conditions in the cathode region, which are easy to scale after long-term accumulation. The titanium coated platinum electrode they developed produced acidic water with a pH value of 5.11 and ORP of 313mV; Alkaline water has a pH of 9.75 and an ORP of -354mV, fully in line with industry standards for ionized water.

P6 titanium-coated platinum electrode has been installed on a large scale in 5 kinds of water electrolysis devices.
